To truly practice Nonviolent Communication (NVC), the journey begins within and extends through meaningful connection with others.
This focused, two-hour introductory workshop is designed for anyone seeking to replace internal struggle and external conflict with greater clarity and empathy. Participants will learn two foundational NVC skills essential for lasting change: Compassionate Self-Conversation (Self-Empathy) and Listening Without Judgment (Empathic Listening).
In this interactive training, you will learn how to:
Practice Compassionate Self-Conversation (Self-Empathy): Break down the NVC Four Steps into a practical tool for internal dialogue. Shift from self-criticism to resilience by identifying feelings and the unmet needs beneath them.
Listen Without Judgment (Empathic Listening): Understand the difference between judgmental listening, interpreting, advising, or fixing, and true empathic presence focused on hearing needs.
De-escalate Conflict: Practice reflecting another person’s feelings and needs in ways that build trust and connection, without taking their message personally.
Participants will leave with practical tools to support their inner world and strengthen their capacity to communicate with empathy, clarity, and presence in everyday interactions.
